Hans-Jörg Ehren.

Hi and thanks for stopping by! I am Hans, a cycling and photography nerd based in Munich, Germany (which is, by the way, the place of the original Oktoberfest).

That cycling became a thing for me again was not until a few years ago. I used to drive for my commute and most errands. It changed, when my wife and I moved to a new home close to my workplace. Using a car for a commute of less than two miles did not seem like a great idea to me. In the end, my rediscovered cycling enthusiasm led to a couple of vintage bikes flocking into our garage.

Another favorite activity of mine is hiking the Bavarian Alps. Its mountain dreamscapes are no more than a 60‑minute drive away from our home. I also love going to some more remote areas whenever possible. In pre-corona days, Japan, New Zealand, and the United States had been my favorite long-haul destinations.
